This was the last time our community of Hunt Club and the City came together to develop a secondary plan for Hunt Club. This was in 1997-98. Unfortunately, the process became too cumbersome to result in an official neighborhood plan. The alternative benefits were the experience and contacts gained by those involved.

This report describes the Hunt Club neighborhood quite thoroughly as it exists as of November, 1997. It indicates present zoning and land use, locations of various facilities, assets, community feelings and opinions re desired changes. The report has been written to serve as a foundation upon which to build the neighborhood plan.

Mission Meetings Members Alternates
On May 27, 1997 the Public Advisory Committee for the Hunt Club Neighbourhood Plan (the PAC for short) had a public workshop to ensure that the Hunt Club Neighbourhood Plan truly reflects the nature of our community. There were displays showing some of the results of fact finding by the City of Ottawa planners who are working on this study. These included demographic, environmental and other studies of our village. If these don't truly reflect the character of our community, we need you to correct us.
