The following summarizes the issues presented at the 3 Feb 2002 meeting of the Hunt Club Community Organization (HCCO) at the Hunt Club Riverside Community Centre (HCRCC).

  2. Fred McLennan will write a letter to the City asking that it construct a pathway underneath the Airport Parkway to connect Cahill Drive and South Keys.

Maria McRae: The Hunt Club/Riverside Community Services Centre will hold its first annual general meeting at General Vanier Public School on Wednesday February 26, 2003 at 18:30. She invited everyone to attend. City Council has increased its funding to the Services Centre to a total of $256,924. She said that recent changes in environmental standards would provide less protection to McCarthy Woods.

There was a general discussion about the need for housing and the importance of intensification.

Gisèle told us that Des Walker had died: Des was active in our community and contributed to the planning of the Minto Development on McCarthy Road. Gisèle wrote a letter to Wendy Stewart asking the City to restore the sidewalks and put up more NO PARKING signs on Twyford.
